Woodhouse Recorder Courses 2012
In a bid to make our courses accessible to a wider range of participants in these tricky financial times, this year Woodhouse will take the form of a series of short 1 and 2 day courses in Surrey. We hope you will find something to suit you here!
Saturday 21st – Sunday 22nd July 2012
Weekend course at Ruckmans, RH5 5ND
A two-day intensive but fun course for Grade 8+ recorder players of any age.
Tutor: Annabel Knight (recorder) with Robin Bigwood (accompaniment)
Max 6 participants
This course will take the form of open masterclasses for solo repertoire and technique, with some ensemble and historical topic-based sessions. This is a great way to move your playing and performance skills to the next level, in a small and supportive environment.
Camping on site (free) or local b & b (at own expense). Home-cooked meals included.
Pick-ups from local stations Dorking or Ockley

The St John's Centre, Guildford, GU4 7AA10am – 4.30pm (until 3pm for Level 1)
A fantastic day of recorder playing and activities for players aged 18 and under, Grades 1-8.
Mini-masterclasses and lots of ensemble playing with the experienced Woodhouse team including Annabel Knight, Rebecca Austen-Brown and Katriina Boosey.
Level One – Grades 1-3
Level Two – Grades 4-5
Level Three – Grades 6-8
Refreshments provided; please bring a packed lunch.
