Course Scholarships: A number of full and part scholarships have been generously pledged by the ABRSM, Trinity Guildhall, Küng Recorders and by Forsyth Music Publishers in association with the Rawsthorne Trust. You can apply for these awards on the special application form - see links below. Scholarship applicants will need to send a short CD of their recorder playing, featuring two contrasting pieces. Please note the closing date for the receipt of scholarship applications is Friday 11th June 2010.
Walter Bergmann Fund (Society of Recorder Players): Students can apply to the Walter Bergmann Fund for funds to help pay for the course. You should apply to the fund directly via the Society of Recorder Players website, or (secretary) for more information.
You can apply simultaneously for a Course Scholarship and to the Walter Bergmann Fund, but please note it is unlikely you will receive awards from both. If your application is fully dependent on receiving a course scholarship or funding from the Walter Bergmann Fund please let us know and we will hold your deposit cheque until the outcome is known.
